Daniel Scaini founded SDP Investment Group Inc., an advisory and investment management firm based out of Toronto in 2017. As Chief Investment Officer and Founding Partner, he leads portfolio management, research activities, and plays an integral role of driving new advisory business.
Daniel has worked in the securities industry, gaining dedicated experience in equities, portfolio management, capital markets, and corporate finance. Through these placements, Daniel has worked in various settings such as hedge funds, large banks, and governments.
Daniel’s most recent educational activity includes attending the Ivey Business School for an Honours Business Administration degree, specializing in finance. Prior to transferring to Ivey, Daniel completed three full years at Wilfrid Laurier University, double-majoring in economics and financial management. Daniel also holds a Certificate in Business and Financial Modeling from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Cesare Di Pietro founded SDP Investment Group Inc., an advisory and investment management firm based out of Toronto in 2017. As Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Founding Partner, he leads corporate development, advisory business, and plays an integral role in portfolio management, maintenance of client relationships, and conformity with compliance standards.
Cesare has worked in both in the finance and logistics industry. Through his various experiences, Cesare has acquired specialized skills in the fields of accounting, business management, and operational consultancy.
Cesare’s most recent educational activity includes attending York University for a Bachelor of Accounting degree, while also minoring in finance. Cesare is currently enrolled / enrolling in Chartered Financial Institute (CFI) courses to deepen his understanding of accounting and the financial markets.
Bruce Zhang joined SDP Investment Group in 2018 initially as research analyst for the investment management division. Shortly thereafter through his entrepreneurial passion, Bruce became involved in activities closely tied to business development. Bruce currently leads the junior analysts in research initiatives and plays an integral role of driving new international business, both for the firm’s advisory practice and alternative investments.
Bruce has worked in various financial settings such as large scale insurance, equity research, and commercial banking.
Bruce’s most recent educational activity includes the successful completion of his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 designation. Prior to this milestone, Bruce attended the University of Western Ontario and double majored with a Bachelor of Financial Mathematics and a Bachelor of Financial Economics.
